Stop password nagging in Ubuntu

Finally... turn off the Gnome Keyring in Ubuntu that nags you to enter your password again immediately after logging in. This has bugged me since I started using Ubuntu, and I've tried to turn it off before, but couldn't make it work. Finally now there's an easy(-ier) way to do it.

yeah, I found this about a month ago. I would have told you about it, but I figured you'd already known. It certainly makes things a little nicer not having to enter the keyring password all the time.

On an unrelated topic, I recently reformatted an external seagate hard drive for ext3 (from it's native fstab) when I learned about the 4G filesize limitation on fstab. (I couldn't do megabig tar backups over the network.) It was a chore, but now that it's accomplished, I'm pretty happy with it. It appears that ext3 will be far more reliable (journaled, etc.) than fstab too.
